Transformative Agility in Human Resources (ICP-AHR)
This course has recently been reorganized in a way that explores the content in a much deeper way. Participants will take away all new tools and techniques for use with HR Teams and Leadership. These tools will help them bridge the cultural divide that can come about in organizations in the process of restructuring both their culture and their physical structure to accommodate success.
Focus is spent on the Employee Lifecycle (EL) and what an organization needs in order to be agile and align with the EL at every turn, from become a learning organization and all that means, develop a culture of experimentation, trust and shared ownership, and identify what needs to change in order to have cultural structure align with organizational process structure.
Content format
The teaching approach is innovative and interactive: it is based on activities, games and discussions, following the format of Training from the Back of the Room. There are 9 sessions and a project that is worked on each week in tandem with the course topics.
Do you have to be an Agile Coach to attend?
No. Some experience or basic understanding of Agile is helpful, but we will discuss differences between the manifesto, principles, values, mindset as well as the HR manifesto.
Who should attend?
The course is suitable for everyone who is about to start working with Human Resources teams, or who champions Agile teams. HR Professionals, Agile Coaches, Organizational Leaders, Agile Transformation Leaders, and Change Agents are all encouraged to add this course to your learning plan.
Certification
This course is accredited by the International Consortium for Agile (ICAgile) as fulfilling all Learning Objectives in the Organizational Enablement track. After successful completion of this course, participants will receive the qualification ICAgile Agility in Human Resources (ICP-AHR).
This course is a key step toward helping organizations to understand what Agile employees, leaders, and organizations need to be successful.
On successful completion of this class, and a small survey issued by ICAgile, you will be eligible to receive the ICP-AHR designation.
Please note that this designation does not certify you to teach this course.
"I have attended Karen's ICP - AHR class and have learned a lot on how we can apply Agile to HR. The class was way beyond theories only as the discussions during our sessions were full of practical scenarios, and how you can apply the principles of Agile in Human Resources. Karen's facilitation using virtual and remote tools has made the experience more engaging. I will surely recommend and attend future classes of Karen!"
Coming Soon!
Monarch Coaching & Training has continued to update this course to stay current in our ever-changing world. Throughout this course, you'll receive tools that you can use right away that are only available in this course. When organizations embark upon their Agile journey, they often forget about the structural and human changes that need to take place, only offering teams new processes. These actions often leave human need gaps unaddressed and leave in place structures that are not supportive of the new ways we are asking our people to work.
This course is designed to guide 3 role categories in any organization through the changes that need to take place: The HR Team (regardless of their designation or role), Leadership (regardless of their level), and Coaches (regardless of whether they are Agile Coaches or Professional Coaches). If you work in HR, lead HR, or coach HR, this is the course for you. You’ll leave with a new understanding and tools you can put to use even before the course has completed and a new focus on the humans involved.
