Transformative Agility in Human Resources (ICP-AHR)
This course has recently been reorganized in a way that explores the content in a much deeper way. Participants will take away all new tools and techniques for use with HR Teams and Leadership. These tools will help them bridge the cultural divide that can come about in organizations in the process of restructuring both their culture and their physical structure to accommodate success.
Focus is spent on the Employee Lifecycle (EL) and what an organization needs in order to be agile and align with the EL at every turn, from become a learning organization and all that means, develop a culture of experimentation, trust and shared ownership, and identify what needs to change in order to have cultural structure align with organizational process structure.
Content format
The teaching approach is innovative and interactive: it is based on activities, games and discussions, following the format of Training from the Back of the Room. There are 9 sessions and a project that is worked on each week in tandem with the course topics.

"Taking the IC Agile refresher course with Karen Bruns from March to June was an enlightening and transformative experience for me. If you have read the 2020 Scrum Guide©, you will have found that it mentions the word "coach" twice as follows:
Two sentences! Just two sentences! These two little sentences require an ability that simply isn't achieved in your CSM class. Every Scrum Master (newbie or advanced) needs to have skills to be able to accomplish these two sentences.
Think about it; coaching the team members in self-management and cross-functionality isn't achieved through burndowns and tasks. Coaching an organization in its Scrum adoption most definitely requires some understanding of coaching practices. It's time to level up your skill, and our certification course will get you started.

"Karen was excellent, I have been on courses where the teacher would just quote the material. Karen brought the content to life and would flex the agenda based on the conversation or where our learning needs or thought processes took us on the day. Being able to do this with a large group with different needs is a great skill. I really enjoyed the stories that Karen uses to make the content hit home too. I really enjoyed the course and the format really suited my learning style. I was able to reflect over the week, put things into practice and come back to learn deeper the next week. The content was excellent, the models and strategies came in really useful for my context in transformation."
"Karen is a great instructor bring in a wealth of knowledge from her own learnings and experiences. She comes to each class with a clear plan but meets and shifts with the class adapting her lessons to our needs and wants. Her knowledge and expertise as a Coach, Facilitator, and Mentor are on full display with every class. The Agile Certified Coach class was a great starting point on my Agile Coaching Journey. It is easy to see how this is just the start point to a mountain of knowledge and experience.."
"Karen Bruns made some seemingly ordinary everyday topics feel fascinating in the way she coached us. I loved the method of imparting the knowledge. This was a unique course. I loved the content of this course and have learned many techniques I believe will be useful to me as a coach and leader."
Because coaching the team members in self-management and cross-functionality isn't achieved through chatting about burndowns and tasks. Coaching an organization in its adoption of nearly anything, most definitely requires a deeper understanding of coaching practices and a close relationship with a coaching mindset. Sign up for the class to depeen your understanding and skill.
This course is designed to guide 3 role categories in any organization through the changes that need to take place: The HR Team (regardless of their designation or role), Leadership (regardless of their level), and Coaches (regardless of whether they are Agile Coaches or Professional Coaches). If you work in HR, Lead HR, or Coach HR, this is the course for you. You’ll leave with a new understanding and tools you can put to use even before the course has completed.
